Bus Services

SSIPS takes a very good care of all the needs of its Students. Excellent transportation facilities are rendered to them. SSIPS possesses a eet of buses for students and staff members to provide pick-n-drop facility from all corners of the city

We also provide bus facility to Students from Bhilai. The Commuters' bus attendance is a compulsion in all buses. Statistics have shown that College buses are the safest mode of commutation.

Central Library

The Central Library plays a vital role in providing opportunities to the students as well as the Staff Members to enrich their knowledge. It is well maintained with 23709 books, 69 National Journals, 35 International Journals and more than 1000 CDs, which is well above the norms. All operations in the library are fully computerised.

We make all efforts to inculcate reading habits in the Students and also to provide them with all necessary assistance. At a time, one student is entitled to issue 3 books in his/her name for a period of 14 days.

Seminar Halls

SSIPS's seminar hall is spread over an area of 2500 sq. feet. It can comfortably accommodate 150 individuals.

It is fully air-conditioned and is suitable for Conferences, Symposium, Meetings, Seminars, Concerts, Presentations and Performances. The hall is fully equipped with audio-visual devices providing services such as video conferencing with a sound system and audio-visual material.

Central Computing Facility

The Central Computing Facility has been constituted with the specific objective of providing the most effective cutting-edge resources to equip our students with the latest update in the field of Computer Technology, thus providing them a platform to launch their careers

The new Central Computing Lab in the Administrative block was inaugurated by His Excellency Honorable Shri Shekhar Dutt, Governor, Chhattisgarh State. We have a dedicated server for networking, e-campus application and Oracle database saving. All our workstations and servers are connected via 1000 Mbps LAN network. 24 hours Internet facility (155Mbps) is available to the students to explore and learn.

Mess & Canteen

College mess, good food, good health and good life are interrelated. With this perception in mind, the management of SSIPS provides excellent mess facilities to the Students. Our mess, which can accommodate around 150 Students at a time, is built up in the campus premises. Pure vegetarian, nutritious, hygienic and homely food is served.

The mess caters to the need of all streams of Academy and hostellers with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Institute provides conducive and healthy atmosphere in the mess and makes sure that quality food is served at reasonable price even to the day scholars. Canteens are more than simple hang out which add different avours to our life.

Canteen at SSIPS is an open area for group discussion, a little gossip and some hilarious moments and memories accompanied with cutlets, samosas, potato chips, tea, coffee and coke in between as gap llers. It builds up an ambience of rendezvous where our students love to spend their leisure hours with their friends keeping away all the hassles of mundane living.

Hostel

What could be more important than nding a place to think, to eat, to relax, to sleep and to study? At SSIPS, we make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible so that you can concentrate entirely on studies. SSIPS provides quality accommodation to the Students. Presently, we have facilities for accommodating 200 boys and 80 girls. The hostels for boys and girls are situated within the college campus and are well secured (24*7).
